Fire Pump Operations Simulator
In emergency situations, the ability to operate fire pump systems efficiently can mean the difference between controlling a fire and a critical loss. The Sim-Tech Fire Pump Operations Simulator provides hands-on training for setting up, managing, and controlling pump systems under realistic conditions. It functions as a stand-alone extended reality (XR) solution or can be integrated with any Fire Rescue Series Driving Simulator configuration. The system comes equipped with its own independent vehicle physics engine to ensure realistic pump response and dynamics. Operators can simulate water pressure adjustments, hose deployment, pump activation, and high-pressure coordination scenarios—helping trainees build the skills, timing, and awareness needed to respond effectively in the field. Departments can choose between two layout styles to match their fleet configuration: Top-Mount and Side-Mount pump panel simulators.
Side-Mount Pump Panel Simulator
Ideal for departments using traditional midship control layouts, the side-mount pump simulator replicates street-side operations with precise attention to control location and workflow. Operators train in a realistic environment to manage pump-to-tank transitions, control line pressures, monitor gauges, and handle multi-line coordination—all from the same position they would use in the field. The familiar layout boosts muscle memory and sharpens readiness for live incidents.

Top-Mount Pump Panel Simulator
Built for agencies using top-mount pumpers, this configuration replicates the elevated, rear-facing control setup common in many modern fire apparatus. Trainees can practice pump operations while gaining spatial awareness from the raised vantage point. This simulator allows operators to control multiple hose lines, regulate pressure, and respond to dynamic scene conditions—all while reinforcing safe and efficient positioning behind the apparatus.
